These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Globistro (the "Service"), operated by Globistro ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Globistro provides recipe content organized by country, tribe/ethnicity and category, including content generated with the assistance of an AI model, alongside user-submitted recipes and homemade "copycat" versions of viral food trends. A portion of the content is available free of charge; the rest requires a paid subscription.
Recipes are provided for general informational and inspirational purposes only. They are not professional culinary, medical, or nutritional advice — this applies with particular force to any category framed around a health or life-stage need (for example, Pregnancy-Safe or Senior-Friendly). Always use your own judgment about food safety and consult a qualified professional for guidance specific to your health, allergies, or dietary needs.
Free content does not require creating an account. Paid access is tied to the email address used at checkout; entering that same email again restores access on any device. You are responsible for using an email address you control and for any activity associated with it.
Some features (My Cookbook, My Passport) are stored locally on your device only. We have no way to recover this data if you clear your browser storage or switch devices — it is not backed up on our servers.
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout) through our payment processor, Flutterwave. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your chosen payment method until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from the Premium page. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. We do not prorate or refund the unused portion of a current billing period, except where required by applicable law.
We never see or store your card details — checkout is hosted entirely by Flutterwave.
If you submit a recipe or a rating/review (including photos), you confirm you have the right to share that content and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce and distribute it as part of the Service. Submitted content is moderated before publication and may be rejected or removed at our discretion, including after publication.
Do not submit content that is false, infringing, abusive, or that you do not have the right to share.
You agree not to: scrape or bulk-extract content from the Service; attempt to bypass paywalls, rate limits, or anti-abuse measures; submit spam, fraudulent reviews, or content on behalf of a competitor in bad faith; or use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.
The Service, including its design, compiled content, and underlying software, is owned by us or our licensors. Recipe names and cooking techniques reflect traditional/cultural knowledge and are not claimed as exclusive to us; the specific written descriptions, steps and formatting on the Service are protected as our content. Trending "copycat" recipes referencing third-party brands are original homemade adaptations, not official recipes, and are not affiliated with or endorsed by those brands.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. We do not warrant that recipes are suitable for any particular allergy, medical condition, or dietary requirement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any outcome related to preparing or consuming a recipe found here.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms. You may stop using the Service, and cancel any subscription, at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "effective date" below reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Globistro is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
